Zodiac

This is my final piece from my series of self portraits in Spring 2012. The goat represents me, being my zodiac symbol, and the horns are also a reference to the symbol of Aquarius. Wanting to push the idea of subtleties in white I wanted to have a "white on white" painting, and the mountain goat proved to be the best choice.

This is the second in a series of self portraits during Spring 2012. Choosing an object that represented myself, the white background in all three pieces is meant to play with different subtle variations in color.

The first in a series of self portraits in Spring 2012.

This piece represents an internet version of myself. No one knows who they are communicating with sometimes on the internet, so the figure being turned away displays then sense of disconnection, while the question mark makes the obvious statement that you don't know who someone really is.
